The Story of LawnFest

One sunny Perth day, Jono Laundy, better known as PieCo$t, thought to himself

 "I have so many musical friends. They deserve the chance to perform and have their music heard."

He mentioned this thought to his mate Joe aka ChilliPhilly, and with some help with the name from Rhys Clark from @rhydoesmusic, LawnFest was born. Jono, his brother Mark, and Joe then set out to convert the Laundy Family backyard into the best possible festival venue they could, building a stack, sign and setting up lights and sound. The first LawnFest took place on Saturday February 11th and will continue to be held each year, with the hope to grow and become open to the public.
